Okay, so i was down with nose allergies the previous week and the boss was away so I had to do a bit more for our papers and cases and when I arrive at the flat after work I’m too tired <excuses, excuses> to do more than some stretching, eat dinner, take meds, read a little online until I fall asleep.
Then the new seasons came…and the couch owned me once again.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 9
I just love Grey’s Anatomy! It’s now in its 9th season and I’m anticipating each episode, hehe. Watching it started with several episodes of its 2nd season then got really hooked when I came to Bahrain. I’m currently completing an all season compilation for marathon watching sessions 🙂
Maybe because I worked in a hospital prior to coming here that’s why Grey just took me. It eased some of my homesickness. It felt a bit like I was home whenever I see them in their scrubs, and hearing familiar procedures and patients’ cases. And i just love the show’s characters, they’re like super heroes as they work saving lives, but still live very human lives.
How I Met Your Mother Season 8
My brother Yano (the original couch potato) told me about this series last year and helped me download all seasons 1-7 and watched marathons during summer weekends 🙂
I admire the gang’s strong bond which has stood a lot of stuff from their uni days to present life and wished I had something like that. I even thought our Thursday group would somehow have that kind of friendship but some things happened, many things changed, and it became Thursday group no more. 😦
But I’m still following the series, currently on its 8th season, as I’m also dead curious to find out really “how Ted met his children’s mother” 🙂
The Big Bang Theory Season 6
It was actually some of my nerdy friends here in Bahrain that influenced me to watching The Big Bang Theory. And after a few episodes, I was hooked! I downloaded all seasons 1-5 and watched them over and over again. Until today.
An episode a night is like my bed time story which lulls me to sleep. I don’t know if that’s unhealthy, but it sure works. Now on its 6th season, i’m looking forward to each upcoming episode, 🙂
So there, I’m glued to my PC for each new episode and some previous series review (like back reading hehe), but i do make a mental note not to overdo it.
I try to remind myself that I still have other stuff to do, so I shutdown my PC, get up and do house chores, my indoor exercises, to get out for a little walk, like, to the grocery to get milk and veggies instead of ordering home delivery. Remember Leandra, balance is key.
Till next episode! 🙂
