This post is part of a series on our trip to Boracay in December 2012, during my four-week home leave. This is my second chance to visit this island paradise, while it’s a first time for Buboy. And we were both looking forward to experiencing that indeed, It’s More Fun in The Philippines!
Whew! Sensya naman at ngayon lang ulit nakapagpost. Ngayon lang nakaahon from paper mountains at work, hehe. Tsaka nagloloko yung luma kong laptop, mukhang gagraduate na. :p
And so without further ado, let’s continue how we spent the rest of 12-12-12 in Boracay…
After our ATV activity, we rode the shuttle back to White Beach. Kuya Arnel with his assistant (yes, may assistant si Kuya, sosyal), led us to the registration station/booth for Helmet Diving/Reef Walking.
Wallet damage = Php 700/pax. Yes, mahal na raw sya ngayon unlike before at Php 200-350/pax lang. Oh well, once in a blue moon lang naman so carry na.
Note that it was super windy that time, nerbyos levels ang Buboy while we rode our speedboat to the “diving site”, hehehe.
Walang sinayang na sandal (at dahil hapon na rin noh), we were given safety instructions, blah blah blah & then went under water in no time. 🙂
Our underwater Kuya guide (who was pogi btw, awww) took our pics & videos while we fed the fishes (fish or fishes ang plural? whateva).
Bentang benta ang bread crumbs namin ni Buboy sa mga fishes, at tuwang tuwa naman kami sa kanilang vivid colors, 🙂
I just noticed that there were no significant “reefs” in the area. Kuya guide showed us some but I find them ” quite small,” well compared to what we’ve seen sa Al Dar (Bahrain) at opkors, what we see on TV, hehe.
We finally finished our fish feeding activity hehe, picture picture until it was time to go up,
It was almost 4pm when we were dropped off to the beach. We agreed with Kuya Arnel to meet early tomorrow for next set of activities, 🙂
At dahil napagod/nagutom, we went to the first food stall that we saw – Sorbetes! 🙂
We walked along the beach to dry ourselves and sightseeing ulit.
We passed by several ongoing weddings, we paused to check out the bride and the ceremony (kami na ang usyoso hehe). Lovely, lovely weddings, sigh…. 🙂
At nagutom ulit (hindi kinaya ng Sorbetes lang), we saw a signage for a newly opened McDonald’s sa may Regency so we went in (Bihira kami kumain sa McDo dine sa Bahrain, we prefer the local fast food Jasmi’s) 🙂
After our Mc Do meal, we went back to the beach for a sunset dip (ansarap ng tubig at walang sunburn hehe!), then decided to make sandcastles.
Kaso, dahil wala pareho kaming walang talent sa sandcastle making, eto lang ang nakayanan namin, sensya na… 🙂
Buboy wasn’t satisfied with what we came up so he decided to “improve” it. Ayun, inabot na ng dilim at high tide! :p
When Buboy finally gave up, we went back to our cottage to freshen up and rested a bit.
Then we went out again (bago makatulog) to check out Boracay at night, 🙂
We walked going to Station 1 and passed by numerous dinner buffet offerings (nagasurvey na rin which to try later hehe).
It was high tide that evening, we removed our flip flops & walked barefoot (mas mahirap pag nakatsinelas).
While walking we saw this fireworks sa may dulo ng Station 1, not so grand, pero tuwa na kami dahil bihira yan sa Bahrain, hehe.
Our destination: Guilly’s Island, 🙂
Php 30/btl or Php 360/bucket waaaaaa…. sana ganire rin ang presyo sa Bahrain, hehehe!
We had several rounds then decided to move on to Epic (curious e, hehe)
Well, the interiors are nice, nice DJ music (but I think we just preferred live bands gaya dine sa BAH hehe)
The place was quite packed nga pala, we came around midnight na so we just had our drinks by the bar.
Had a few rounds and then called it a night, hik! Thank u 12-12-12.
Tomorrow we go boating / island hopping / snorkeling! 🙂
