Asian mini-trip Series Part 8: Lantau Island – Ngong Ping Village & the Giant Buddha

This post is part of a series on our Asian mini-trip last December 2012, during my four-week home leave. After four amazing days in the Island Paradise, Boracay, we jumped on a bus to spend the night at Clark, Angeles City to catch our early morning flight commencing our 8-day trip around Singapore – Kuala Lumpur – Hong Kong and Macau. :)

Good Morning Baguio! Este, Hong Kong pala.

We arrived in Hong Kong kagabi at matapos kumain ay natulog ng bongga dahil alam namin full packed na naman ang susunod na araw.

After breakfast, we immediately headed to the TST MRT station, bought Octopus Cards and rode the MRT to Central.

Wow Mali moment LOL.

We finally realized we still needed to take the MRT – Tung Chung line naman. Alighting at Tung Chung station, bumulaga samin ang giant City Gate Outlets Mall. Babalikan ka namin mamaya. Hehehe.

But I actually had other reasons hehe. Bukod sa malaking savings if you take the bus, it was a very foggy morning (as in super-Baguio-levels, that you won’t really see a clear view) and honestly, medyo may fear of heights ako. Toinks.

And so, bus ride to Lantau mga 30 mins.

Tsaka nahiya ako kasi naka shorts ako, dyahe hehe.

While walking we also saw the guide/sign leading to “Wisdom Path”  pero di na kami tumuloy. Next time. Para may balikan pa kami dine. Naks.

Kaswerte naming may staff na namigay ng passes for the day. Ay para kaming tumama sa lotto. Maraming Salamat ulit Miggy!🙂
