This post is part of a series on my 16-day Mainland South East Asian trip with college buddies across Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam.
I have been looking forward to a trip with my college best friends since we graduated in 2005. Hence I was so elated when two of them were able to join me. It was like college once again, minus the Departmental Exams. 🙂
Matapos ang epic Kanchanaburi adventure kahapon, let’s explore ulit Bangkok area ngayon.
We had our breakfast sa guesthouse then proceeded to walk going to the Grand Palace. Don’t mind those people attempting to stop you and say the Grand Palace is closed and suggest you go someplace else. Diretso lang kayo sa gate.
Pagpasok sa loob, pichur pichur galore!
Afterwards we headed to Wat Pho (aka the Giant Reclining Buddha), sightseeing and pichur pichur ulit.
Paglabas naming saka naming narealize na alas dos na pala. Kaya lahat ng madaanan naming street food e inupakan namin.
Hanggang makarating kami sa Soi Rambuttri ang sat for Pad Thai, yum!
Lakad lakad pa kami within sa area while checking out pasalubongs. Shops are everywhere lah, hehe.
Then we let McDo do his run in the afternoon habang pahinga kami ni Juds.
In the evening we went out again and roamed Khao San Road.
We had Thai massage, street food trip and drinks to cap our last night in Bangkok! 🙂
We were definitely hungover the next morning, but not due to alcohol – it’s of all the fun stuff we saw, eat and did in Bangkok. Shukran, till next time!
Next day: Temple Run in Siam Reap
