This post is part of a series on my 16-day Mainland South East Asian trip with college buddies across Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam.
I have been looking forward to a trip with my college best friends since we graduated in 2005. Hence I was so elated when two of them were able to join me. It was like college once again, minus the Departmental Exams. 🙂
Akala ko record holder na ang 12-hour bus ride to see the Angkor Temples of Siam Reap, Cambodia.
I was wrong Ate Charo, dahil inabot ng 16 hours ang aming epic bus journey Siam Reap – Ho Chi Minh City, hehehe.
Sa Wakas, nakarating din kami sa Pham Ngu Lao. At madali naming nahanap ang aming hostel sa Saigon.
2pm. Sabi namin idlip lang, power nap. Gising maya bago dinner time. Waley. Kinabukasan na kami nagmulat. :p
Mekong Delta Tour: My Tho – Ben Tre, Mekong River boat trip, Bee Farm, Tropical Fruits, Coconut Candy Factory, Pho 2000 dinner, Cu Chi Tunnels War History Tour, Ben Thanh night market pasalubong shopping & patintero with 1 million motorcyles
Next day, we had Cu Chi Tunnels tour in the morning. Ang galing ng tour guide naming si Mr. Jacky Chan.
Andami pa sana namin dapat i-explore sa Saigon, kaso our bus leaves that afternoon for our next destination – Mui Ne. 🙂
Next day: The Resort Capital of Vietnam – Enchanting Mui Ne.
