This post is part of a series on my 16-day Mainland South East Asian trip with college buddies across Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam.
I have been looking forward to a trip with my college best friends since we graduated in 2005. Hence I was so elated when two of them were able to join me. It was like college once again, minus the Departmental Exams. 🙂
After a glimpse tour of Saigon, we traversed northbound, 6 hour by bus to the so-called “Resort Capital of Vietnam,” Mui Ne.
It was dark when we reached Mui Ne, but easily found Chuồn chuồn Guesthouse. Infernez, ang aliwalas ng Mui Ne, resort island talaga ang peg. 🙂
After dinner and a brief stroll to familiarize the area, we called it a night. Maaga as usual ang call time sa photo shoot. 😉
Mui Ne itinerary:
Sunrise at the Red Sands, strolling Mui Ne Beach and the Fishing Village, and barefoot trek thru the Fairy Stream.
It was still early when we finished the mini-tour. We strolled around our hostel area, puro posh resorts sa beachfront, walang sidewalk massages hehe.
At late pala gumigising ang mga tao dine, parang Biyernes lang sa Bahrain ang peg. Sarado pa mga shops and restos e halos tanghali na.
While strolling & checking out shops e we finally found one resto and had our brunch. At Russian-English ang mga menu. Soshalan. 🙂
We took our time sa resto at medyo mainit na rin nung lumabas kami. Tinamad na kami maglakad para hanapin ang daan papuntang beach front. (Busog e, hehe) We walked back to our guest house and waited for the noon bus back to Saigon.
That night, we flew back to Manila.
Maraming Salamat sa napakarami at masasayang ala-ala, IndoChina.
Hanggang sa muli,
