This post is part of a series on our trip to amazing Egypt in July 2014 during Eid Al Fitr holiday. Kaliwali kung mainit. Slapped some suncream and walked like an Egyptian! 🙂
Day 2 with a jam-packed itinerary 🙂 After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we were accompanied by our guide from Memphis Tours to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue.
We then had lunch by the Nile, on a restaurant designed like a boat.
We had afternoon tea and bought some souvenirs before going back to Le Meredien.
Night swimming was apparently not allowed so we ended the day at the indoor spa instead, which turned out great. We soothed and relaxed our info-overloaded brains hehehe.
Early morning tomorrow, we fly to Luxor…. 🙂
