This post is part of a series on our trip to Oman in October 2012, during the celebration of Eid Al Adha holidays. The temps have finally simmered down, perfect for the outdoors, yay!
After about 12 hours of restful, uninterrupted sleep, we’re up for our Day 2!
And as we travelled far south yesterday to marvel at the surreal beauty of Wadi Bani Khalid & Muqal Cave, our route for the day will be “nearby.”
That is, in and around Muscat.
We got on the road and yet again, pass by the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque with its striking golden dome. Too bad we didn’t had a chance to visit inside, next time therefore. 🙂
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
Our hotel map / guide indicated that it’s located near to both the Beach and the Grand Mosque. True, but not “across the street near.” More like a kilometer near, Muscat is soooo huge lah! 🙂
