A Milestone: CIPS Level 4 completed! ^_^

Sa wakas Ate Charo, after one year of pagsusunog ng kilay and da midnight oil, echos! 🙂

After completing the short course in Ethical Procurement in  late May, I’ve since waited for the official results for Level 4 assessment.

At nagbunga naman ang paglalaan ng oras magbasa at magpraktis magsulat ng legible (essay type noh, hindi multiple choice).

CIPS Level 4

CIPS Level 4 –  International Diploma – completed!

And yes, this opens doors for me – I can take up Level 5 and up, or pursue MSC/MBA (indi ko natapos ung MBA ko nung 2007 kasi nga napadpad ako dine sa Bahrain).

Pero i need to finish some other courses / tests first, i.e. IELTS, et al. And op kors, need pa ng full prep para sa wedding namin ni Buboy sa Dec.

Andami kong gustong gawin, so little time. Batman, let’s do this! #Eksoyted

NB: Always remember, a goal without a plan, is just a wish. 🙂 🙂 🙂

CIPS e-Learning course: Ethical Procurement & Supply

My CIPS Level 4 exams are over, whew! Now I can have my life back. I have to plan and prepare for my wedding and yes, seriously lose some weight so I can fit in my dress. LOL

But not so fast. While I was checking new updates online and logging my CPD hours as of date, saw this great offer from CIPS for an e-Learning course on Ethical Procurement. It’s free for CIPS members until October 2014 (a minimal fee  required for non-members), so why not?

CIPS Learning Academy, e-Learning course on Ethical Procurement & Supply

The e-Learning package comprises of three modules with interactive tutorials, comprehensive learning material and case studies with questions to check understanding.

On completion of the course you get a Certificate for Ethical Procurement and Supply (renewable after one year) and listed on the CIPS Community Register as ethically trained. It’s public recognition of one’s up to-date knowledge and ongoing commitment to ethical procurement and supply. And so, yalla! 🙂

Back to Rebyu – CIPS May 2014

Yep, before I become a planning-crazy Bridezilla, I need to focus first on my upcoming CIPS examinations on May 2014.

I’ve made the necessary wed prep stuff as per the timeline checklist and now ready to devote the remaining 4 months for CIPS study+review.

The results for my D1, D2 & D3 tests taken in Dec 2013 won’t come out until Feb 2014, and I am very, very hopeful I passed all three. I plan to take modules D4 & D5 this time, to complete the International Diploma course. 🙂

Ready for CIPS modules D4 & D5 :)

Ready for CIPS modules D4 & D5 🙂

I know I still have so much backlog posts – Indochina trip, Palawan trip, Ilocos trip, Bicol trip, et al. I will try to squeeze in some posts, along with work, gym and study time, bahala na si Batman. 🙂

CIPS Level 4 Exams. This is it Pancit.

One day to go sago…. And I have to admit I’m all nerves and major major tensed (Yes, Venus Raj levels).

Dont panic daw, hehe.

Dont panic daw, hehe. Ang thoughtful noh.
Pero this Chapter really made me appreciate my Acctg background. Tenks po SLU! 🙂

And I am having memory gap trying to recall when I last felt like this. Parang hindi naman ako ganito tuwing Deptal exams nung college, nor sa MBA class. Parang mas relaks ako nun, Echos!

Cramming, este Reviewing Starts Now!

Yup, after three excruciating (read: madrama) weeks of waiting, my official books have finally arrived! 🙂

CIPS Level 4 Books

CIPS Level 4 Books, 15.09.13 sa wakas! 🙂

Well, they actually arrived Bahrain a day after dispatch from UK on 27.08.13.

However, customs clearing process took 18 days plus a painful (read: kuripotness) BHD 51.500 duty & COO charges apparently “in line with current regulations requiring a COO for any shipment address to or c/o a commercial entity”. Wat da fish.

Officially Back On The Horse!

Yes, am back!

I know I still have a ton of backlog posts, please forgive me. I haven’t even finished my SIN-KUL-HKG-MFM Series e nakapila na ang Myanmar + Indochina Backpacking trip with the Mons, plus Solo Byaheng Norte then Palawan Trip with Mum. Puro Snapshots pa lang ang kaya ng powers ko for the meantime. Bahala na si Batman, :p

Siempre naman, once I arrived e work muna inatupag ko noh. Gusto mo naman e, masisante ako? Hehehe.

And so, Week 33 was spent clearing paper backlog, updating pending PRs, POs & other cases. Week 34 went so fast doing urgent PRs and the highlight, enrolling with CIPS. Sa wakas, Jonas! After long time my friend, woot! 🙂

Nipostpone ko ng 2 years ire due to the following chenes:

2011 – focused on my new work sa USCO, then did intensive Agrarian Law research at nakipag tug of war sa aming caretaker, with DAR as our referee, op kors we won.

2012 – kinarir ko naman ang pagpapabakod ng aming converted homelot then nagpatayo ng Phase 1 ng aming Dream House Project. Tapos nalipat ako sa GIIC (now Bahrain Steel), the rest of the year we travelled to UAE, Qatar, Oman, Boracay, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau & siemps, Christmas & New Year’s sa Pinas, woot! 🙂

I knew na maski first half of 2013 ay naglagalag na ko, pagbalik ko dito e I’m really determined to do CIPS na talaga. This is it pancit! 🙂
